Luigi Soreca, e agli Ambasciatori e rappresentanti diplomatici delle Ambasciate di tutti gli Stati membri dell\u2019UE in Bosnia-Erzegovina, l\u2019Ambasciatrice Castellani ha visitato il Memoriale di Srebrenica-Poto\u010dari, rendendo omaggio alle vittime del genocidio e incontrando le Madri di Srebrenica.<\/p>\n
Come ricordato dal Ministro degli Affari Esteri \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 Antonio Tajani in occasione dell\u2019ultimo anniversario del genocidio, da trentuno anni le Madri di Srebrenica chiedono verit\u00e0 e giustizia \u201ccon una dignit\u00e0 che commuove il mondo\u201d. Il Ministro ha sottolineato che Srebrenica ha rappresentato \u201cuno dei pi\u00f9 gravi fallimenti della comunit\u00e0 internazionale\u201d e \u201crimane, ancora oggi, un potente monito\u201d. Per questo motivo, \u201cla memoria non \u00e8 una mera formalit\u00e0: \u00e8 un dovere. Ricordare significa raccontare la verit\u00e0 senza compromessi. Significa respingere ogni forma di negazionismo che offende le vittime e avvelena il futuro\u201d.<\/p>\n

On Friday, 25 September 2026, together with the EU HoD\/EUSR, Amb. Luigi Soreca, and Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of all EU Member States\u2019 Embassies in BiH, Amb. Castellani visited the Srebrenica Memorial in Poto\u010dari, paid respects to the victims of the genocide and met with the Mothers of Srebrenica.<\/p>\n
As Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani recalled on the occasion of the latest anniversary of the genocide, for thirty-one years the Mothers of Srebrenica have been calling for truth and justice \u201cwith a dignity that moves the world\u201d. He stressed that Srebrenica marked \u201cone of the international community\u2019s gravest failures\u201d and \u201cremains, to this day, a powerful warning\u201d. That is why \u201cremembrance is not a mere formality: it is a duty. Remembering means telling the truth without compromise.
