U petak, 25. septembra 2026., zajedno sa \u0161efom Delegacije EU\/EUSR, ambasadorom Luigijem Sorecom, te ambasadorima i diplomatskim predstavnicima ambasada svih dr\u017eava \u010dlanica EU u BiH, ambasadorica Castellani posjetila je Memorijalni centar Srebrenica u Poto\u010darima, odala po\u010dast \u017ertvama genocida i susrela se s Majkama Srebrenice.<\/p>\n
Kako je ministar vanjskih poslova Antonio Tajani podsjetio povodom posljednje godi\u0161njice genocida, ve\u0107 trideset i jednu godinu Majke Srebrenice pozivaju na istinu i pravdu \u201es dostojanstvom koje pokre\u0107e svijet\u201c. Istakao je da je Srebrenica predstavljala \u201ejedan od najte\u017eih neuspjeha me\u0111unarodne zajednice\u201c i da \u201edo danas ostaje sna\u017eno upozorenje\u201c. Zato \u201esje\u0107anje nije puka formalnost: ono je du\u017enost. Sje\u0107ati se zna\u010di govoriti istinu bez kompromisa. To zna\u010di odbaciti svaki oblik negiranja koji vrije\u0111a \u017ertve i truje budu\u0107nost.\u201c<\/p>\n

On Friday, 25 September 2026, together with the EU HoD\/EUSR, Amb. Luigi Soreca, and Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of all EU Member States\u2019 Embassies in BiH, Amb. Castellani visited the Srebrenica Memorial in Poto\u010dari, paid respects to the victims of the genocide and met with the Mothers of Srebrenica.<\/p>\n
As Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani recalled on the occasion of the latest anniversary of the genocide, for thirty-one years the Mothers of Srebrenica have been calling for truth and justice \u201cwith a dignity that moves the world\u201d. He stressed that Srebrenica marked \u201cone of the international community\u2019s gravest failures\u201d and \u201cremains, to this day, a powerful warning\u201d. That is why \u201cremembrance is not a mere formality: it is a duty. Remembering means telling the truth without compromise.
