Ministarstvo vanjskih poslova Italije, putem ambasade u Bosni i Hercegovini, organizira me\u0111unarodnu internet konferenciju na temu \u201eTwenty Five Years Later: Dayton Agreement and the European Pathway of Bosnia and Herzegovina\u201d, koja \u0107e se odr\u017eati 18. decembra od 15:00 do 18:30 sa streamingom putem interneta na Facebook stranici ambasade: ItalyinBiH<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Uvodni\u010dari \u0107e biti italijanski ministar vanjskih poslova Luigi Di Maio, ministrica vanjskih poslova BiH Bisera Turkovi\u0107, povjerenik EU za pro\u0161irenje Oliver Varhelyi i povjerenica Vije\u0107a Evrope za ljudska prava Dunja Mijatovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Konferencija \u0107e obuhvatiti dvije sesije i fokusirat \u0107e se na dva glavna podru\u010dja koja su trenutno od interesa: koje je porijeklo i opseg koncepta \u201ekonstitutivnih naroda\u201c koji se nalazi u Daytonskom sporazumu? Kako taj koncept mo\u017ee stupiti u interakciju sa pravima EU kako bi se osiguralo da se prava gra\u0111ana jednako po\u0161tuju i da BiH mo\u017ee postati efikasan, uspje\u0161an \u010dlan EU porodice?<\/p>\n

Svi panelisti dolaze iz razli\u010ditih akademskih sredina iz BiH, regije Balkana i ostatka Evrope i podijelit \u0107e uvide iz svog podru\u010dja stru\u010dnosti.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, through its Embassy Bosnia and Herzegovina, is organizing an international online conference on \u201cTwenty Five Years Later: Dayton Agreement and the European Pathway of Bosnia and Herzegovina\u201d, which will take place on the 18th of December from 15:00 to 18:30 with online streaming on the Facebook page of the Embassy, at ItalyinBiH<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovi\u0107, EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliv\u00e9r V\u00e1rhelyi and Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovi\u0107 will give introductory remarks.<\/p>\n

The proceedings will cover two sessions and will focus on two main areas of current interest, namely: what are the origins and scope of the concept of \u201cconstituent peoples\u201d found in the Dayton agreement? How can that concept interact with EU law to make sure that citizens’ rights and equally are respected and that BiH can become an effective, successful member of the EU family?<\/p>\n

All panelists come from a rich variety of academic backgrounds in BiH, the Balkan region and the rest of Europe and will share insights from their area of expertise.<\/p>\n
