The INdAM Doctoral Programme fellowships in Mathematics and/or Applications Cofunded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (INdAM-DP-COFUND-2015)

The INdAM Doctoral Programme fellowships in Mathematics and/or Applications Cofunded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (INdAM-DP-COFUND-2015) offers PhD fellowships in the framework of the European Horizon 2020 programme “Marie Sklodowska-Curie Co-funding of Regional, National and International Programmes”. These fellowships offer to researchers from all over the world the opportunity to enter a PhD School in Italy.
On the date of the deadline for the submission of proposals, applicants must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their career and must not have been awarded a doctoral degree yet. They must also be in possession of a degree, which formally entitles them to embark in a Doctorate in Italy.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS:
5pm on 31 May 2018, Rome local time.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF THE DEGREE/DIPLOMA WHICH ALLOWS TO EMBARK IN THE DOCTORATE:
for EU Citizens: 5pm on 30 September 2018, Rome local time;
for non-EU Citizens: 5pm on 31 May 2018, Rome local time.

All fellowships are of type Incoming: at the deadline for submission of proposals, applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the Call deadline.
The fellowships have a duration of 36 months.
All domains of research in Mathematics and/or its applications are eligible for funding.
The applicant can freely choose one of the 23 PhD Schools in Italy participating to the Programme.

Appointment conditions of selected fellows.
The fellowships include social security coverage and social benefits.
The average funding will be € 3.094 per month, including a living allowance, a mobility allowance, a travel allowance, a research cost contribution, and expenses for secondment periods.
